Account and login¶
One account, three places: the app at app.huanhuan.com.au, the community at social.huanhuan.com.au (Chinese interface only), and the 换换排活 WeChat mini program. Sign up on any of them once — there is no separate registration.
Sign up: mobile number or email, your pick¶
Open app.huanhuan.com.au. Under the login form, next to "Don't have an account?", tap Sign up. The page is headed "Create an account to run your business".
- In the "Phone or email" field enter an Australian mobile (10 digits starting with 04) or an email address (the placeholder reads "Australian mobile, or email"), then tap Send code. You get "Code sent (by SMS to a phone, by email to an address). Valid for 10 minutes." and the button counts down "Resend in Ns".
- Type the 6 digits into "Verification code" and tap Verify & continue.
- Fill in "What should we call you", a password (placeholder "Set a password", at least 6 characters) and "Confirm password", then tap Sign up. Need to fix the previous step? Tap Back.
The footer says "Fill in the rest later · No extra info collected" — those three things really are all it asks for.
| Signed up with | What's different |
|---|---|
| Mobile number | Open a shop or help out straight away |
| The account has no phone number. The app's own words: "Add a phone number before opening a store, joining by invite or taking jobs, so store owners and helpers can reach you." See When you must have a phone number below |
Mistakes get a plain message: "This mobile number is already registered — log in instead", "This email is already registered. Please sign in", "The code is wrong or expired — try again or request a new one", "Enter an Australian mobile (04…, 10 digits) or an email".
Signing up and told the number already has a store?
The message reads "This number already has a store on HuanHuan — verify your mobile to take it over." — a store already sits under that number. Tap Verify and take over next to it: you land on "Reset your password" with the number filled in, tap Send reset link, set a password through the link in the SMS, then come back and log in. The store is yours.
Log in: three ways in¶
The login page is subtitled "Run your business, hand out the jobs". Enter "Phone or email" and "Password", tap Log in. Get it wrong and it says "Wrong account or password". The web login box does not know WeChat — there is no WeChat sign-in on the web version.
In the 换换排活 WeChat mini program, tap "Continue with WeChat". The first time it asks "First time here with WeChat · Have you used 换换 before?": "Yes — link my existing account" (enter your usual phone and password) or "No — create a new one". An account created through WeChat has no phone number; add one when you need it. Details in WeChat mini program.
An owner sends you a subcontract invitation link (app.huanhuan.com.au/job/…). If you are not logged in, the bottom of that page shows a card: "Log in or sign up to a huanhuan account to apply and message the owner." with Log in and Sign up buttons. After either one you are taken straight back to that invitation, ready to tap "Apply for this job".
Forgot your password, or want a new one¶
On the login page tap Forgot your password? to reach "Reset your password": enter "Phone or email" and tap Send reset link.
- With a mobile number: "If that number is registered, we just sent an SMS with a reset link. It is valid for 1 hour — please check your messages."
- With an email: "If that email is registered, we sent a message with a reset link. It is valid for 1 hour. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive."
Both start with "If … is registered" — the page never tells you whether that number or email has an account. The link opens "Set a new password": "New password" (at least 6 characters) and "Confirm new password", then Update password. "Password updated. Redirecting to log in…" means you are done. After an hour it says "This link is invalid or has expired — please request a new one", so start over.
At the bottom of the Me page, under Log out, there is 🔑 Reset password: "Current password", "New password", "Confirm new password", then Confirm change. Success reads "Password updated"; a wrong current password gets "Current password is incorrect".
The identity card on the Me page¶
The top card on Me shows your name, your phone number ("No phone number yet" if there is none), your email ("No email yet" if none) and an Edit button. It opens the Edit profile sheet, which holds three things:
- Your name: change "Name", tap Save, see "Saved". Up to 80 characters.
- Add a phone number: only shown while the account has none — see below.
- Email: add, change or remove it, plus the email-notification switch.
Add an email, turn on email notifications¶
Email is optional, but with one on file you can be notified by email. In the "Email" part of Edit profile:
- Tap Add email, enter the address, tap Send code. You get "We sent a code to zhangjie@example.com. It is valid for 10 minutes. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive."
- Type the "6 digits from the email" and tap Confirm. "Email added" and you are set.
Once an email is on file, a checkbox appears in the same section: "Also notify me by email", ticked by default. The line under it is the whole rule: "New applications, offers, schedule changes, orders, messages… Sent only if you have not looked in the app within a few minutes, and combined into one email." — email is the safety net; anything you already saw in the app is not sent again. For how 🔔 notifications and push fit together, see Messages and reminders.
- New address: tap Change email, same steps as above.
- Done with it: tap Remove. It asks "Remove the email "zhangjie@example.com"? You will stop getting email notifications." and confirms with "Email removed". If you signed up with email and have no phone number yet, add the phone first — that email is your only way to log in.
- Mistakes: "This email is already used by another account", "This email is already on your account", "That does not look like an email address".
The same switch inside the community
In the community, 「我的」(Me) → 「账号设置」(Account settings) also changes your name and email; the checkbox there is 「站内通知也发到这个邮箱」(also send in-app notifications to this email). The page says 「与换换工具同一账号,这里改了工具里也会变」(same account as the tool — changes here show up there). See Community: sign-up, sign-in and profile.
When you must have a phone number¶
Accounts created with email or WeChat have no phone number. Browsing, recording and scheduling all work, but a few actions are blocked. The app's own words:
"Add a phone number before opening a store, joining by invite or taking jobs, so store owners and helpers can reach you."
When that happens, Edit profile opens by itself with an extra red line, "Please add your phone number first". To add one:
- Tap Add phone, enter an Australian mobile (placeholder "04xx xxx xxx"), tap Send code. A wrong format gets "Enter an Australian mobile (starts with 04, 10 digits)".
- Type the "6 digits from the SMS" and tap Add. You see "Phone number added".
The number already had an account?
If only one side holds data, your current login is moved onto the older account — the message reads "That number already had an account. Your WeChat sign-in has been moved onto it — that is the account you are in now, with all of its data." (It was written for WeChat; an email account adding a number follows the same rule.) If both sides hold data they cannot be merged: "This account already holds data, so it cannot be merged. Please get in touch." The mini program's "Add your phone number" screen adds one more reason: "It is also the only way to get your account back."
Claim links and referral codes¶
If you receive a link starting with app.huanhuan.com.au/claim/…, it opens the Claim your store page: the store name (with "View store" beside it to take a look first) and the line "After claiming, log in with … and the password you set below." (the dots are your mobile number, shown partly masked) — the store already exists under that number. Fill in "Set a password" (at least 6 characters) and "Confirm password", tap Claim and open my store, and you land in the dashboard.
The link works once. Open it again and you get "This claim link no longer works": "It may have been used already, or the store has been claimed. If it is your store, log in, or reset your password with your mobile number.", with Log in and Reset password underneath.
The last sign-up step has a line "Have a referral code?". Open it and you get "Referral code (optional)" (placeholder "e.g. SUNNY"). While it checks you see "Checking code…", then "Referred by …" if it matches; otherwise "We couldn't find this referral code — please check it's correct. You can still sign up without one."
If someone sent you a referral link (app.huanhuan.com.au/ref/…), opening it takes you straight to the sign-up page with the code filled in and locked, showing "Referred by … · From your invite link".
The app has no page that shows your own referral code, and nothing on screen says what a code gets you. Enter one if you have it; sign up as normal if you don't.
One account, three roles¶
Owner, helper, community member — one account, no need to sign up three times. What each role can do is on the docs home; if you have no store and only take jobs, see Working as a helper.
The community login panel at social.huanhuan.com.au uses this same account; an older account that never set a password first taps 「忘记密码?发链接重置」(send a reset link) to create one. Details in Community: sign-up, sign-in and profile.
To sign out, tap Log out at the bottom of Me; it double-checks with "Log out?".
