Working as a helper¶
Not everyone needs to open a store. You can work purely as a helper: other people's stores dispatch jobs to you, you take them, you do them, you get paid.
This page is for people with no store of their own. The app lives at app.huanhuan.com.au — it runs in your phone browser, and "Add to Home Screen" installs it like a real app.
You still need your own account
Helpers sign up like anyone else: mobile number + password, with a 6-digit SMS code on first sign-up (valid 10 minutes). You need an account before you can join anyone's store.
No store, still the full workspace¶
All five tabs are there — Today / Schedule / Collab / Ledger / Me. Your status at the top reads "Helper · no store yet".
- Today: one big number at the top, "Helper income · Paid", then "🤝 My jobs (helping other stores)", and at the bottom a button "＋ Enter invite code / open your store". When there's nothing on, it says "No new job offers or active jobs right now."
- Schedule: everything only store owners use (＋ Add job, vehicles/staff, in-store jobs) hides itself, leaving just your jobs. When there's nothing at all: "No data yet. You don't have your own store — once you take on helper jobs, your work shows up here."
- Collab: "🧰 My jobs as helper" — pending invites, in progress, completed — plus "🌏 My public-board applications".
- Ledger / Reports: "🤝 Helper income (working for other stores)" is its own block, never mixed with any store's books.
Landed on the open-a-store page?
If you have no store and aren't yet a helper anywhere, the app takes you straight to the onboarding page. It isn't forcing you to open a store — go get an invite code, or wait for an owner to confirm your public-board application, and it sorts itself out.
Two ways to become a helper¶
On their side the owner goes to Settings → Edit store / storefront / invite helpers and generates an invite code and invite link in the "🤝 Partner invite" card.
You have two ways to use it:
- Open the link they sent you (it looks like
app.huanhuan.com.au/invite/<code>); or - In the app, go Me → ＋ Enter invite code and paste it in.
The page shows the store name and owner, then one button: "✓ Join this store as a helper". That's it.
Codes change: "🔄 Regenerate" kills the old one instantly, and "🚫 Disable code" shuts the door entirely. So use a code soon after you get it.
A public-board application does not require you to be a helper first. The moment the owner taps "✓ Confirm" on their dispatch, you automatically become a helper at their store — no invite code needed.
In the owner's own words: "Confirming makes them a helper of your store and reveals the full address and customer details."
Until they confirm, your status is "Applied · awaiting confirm" and you only see the general area:
Applied — waiting for the owner to confirm. Until then only the general area is shown, no exact address or customer details.
Done waiting? Pull it back yourself: "Withdraw" under "🌏 My public-board applications" on the Collab page, or from that job's detail page.
Where is the public board?
In this app you can currently only see the applications you already have and withdraw them; there is no screen here for browsing the board and submitting a first application (the community side is still rolling out). So this page covers what happens after you apply, not how to apply — we'll add that once it ships.
What you can and cannot see¶
Once you join, your visibility is exactly one sentence: "Once joined, you help with this store's work as a helper and only see collaboration-related content."
In practice:
- You see your own pay, never what the job itself sold for. That's a promise printed on the owner's dispatch screen: "Helpers only see their own amount, not the price of the job itself."
- What you get on a job is a read-only "Your job" card: pay, time window, address, customer and contact. You cannot edit the source job — that belongs to the owner.
- You are not trading under their brand. You take the jobs they dispatch to you; your own business (if you have one) stays completely separate.
- Every job has a one-to-one chat (yours is labelled "Chat with owner"). Price, timing, door numbers — say it there.
Jobs you accept land on your calendar¶
Once you tap "✓ Accept", the job is yours:
- It appears on your Schedule page as a purple block titled "For {store}", with the address underneath. In the timeline legend it's the "Helping others" swatch.
- It turns grey when done.
- If the owner reschedules, your calendar follows — the time always comes from their source job. (It isn't pushed live; refresh and you have the new time.) Any change to the source job leaves an entry under "📝 Change log" at the bottom of the job.
- Jobs you do for others are not clash-checked. The "⚠ Clash" warning only covers an owner's own vehicle/staff double-bookings in their store; it knows nothing about what you picked up elsewhere. Keep track yourself — don't put two stores' jobs in the same afternoon.

The four income numbers¶
The "My earnings (working for other stores)" card shows up in three places — Today, Collab and Me — with the same four numbers:

Trust the per-row label
The app works these four out for you — treat them as a rough view, not a per-transaction audit trail. To check whether one job actually paid out, look at that row's own label: "To settle" if not yet, "Paid" once it is. Every line under "🤝 Helper income (working for other stores)" in the Ledger carries it.
The English labels aren't consistent across pages
Same numbers, different wording depending on the screen: "Committed" appears as "Accepted" on the Today page, and "Paid" appears as "Received" on the Collab page. The Chinese labels are identical everywhere.
The money moves offline. HuanHuan never touches your cash; it only keeps the status straight. The owner transfers the money, taps "Mark paid", and on your side "Waiting for owner to settle" becomes "✓ Paid".
"{n} jobs done on platform" is your reputation¶
Every job you finish adds one to your platform completion count.
Here's why it matters: when you apply for a public-board job, the owner reviewing you sees a row with exactly three things — your name, what this job pays you, and a purple badge reading "{n} jobs done on platform". No photo, no star rating, no bio.
Which means: to an owner who has never met you, your completion count is very nearly your entire CV. Take a few jobs early and finish them properly, and public-board applications get much easier later.
You can't see this number yourself
"{n} jobs done on platform" is only visible to the owner reviewing your application. It doesn't appear anywhere on your own screens.
When you're ready, open your own store¶
Being a helper isn't the end of the road. The same account opens a store via Me → ＋ Enter invite code / open your store. The experience, the completion count, the muscle memory are all yours — and once your store is running you can still keep helping other people, with each set of books kept separate.
