WeChat mini program 换换排活¶
The mini program is the workbench in your pocket: see today's jobs while you're out, take work, chat, get reminders, and drop your storefront or a subcontract into a WeChat group. The web version at app.huanhuan.com.au is the desk: create jobs, schedule, keep the books, manage items, design the storefront, send invoices. Same account, same data on both sides — change something on one and the other shows it straight away.
In WeChat the mini program is called 换换排活 (with your language set to English, its title reads "HuanHuan"). It shares the same three-language text as the web version, so every quoted phrase on this page is taken from the live app.
Getting in¶
| How to open it | Who it suits |
|---|---|
| Search WeChat for 换换排活 | Owners and helpers. After the first time it sits in WeChat's recently used list |
| Scan a mini program code with WeChat's scanner | Easiest for first-timers. Scan with WeChat — the phone's own camera won't open it |
| Tap a storefront card or subcontract invitation someone forwarded | Customers and helpers |
| Scan the code a store has printed out | Customers. The owner generates that code on the web — see below |
| Tap a reminder card in WeChat's Service Notifications | Anyone who has turned reminders on |
The last few are WeChat's own features; for the details follow the official guide (Chinese).
You can look around without signing in. The mini program doesn't force a login: with nobody signed in, each of the five pages — Today, Schedule, Messages, Collab, Me — shows a one-line intro, for example Schedule says "Sign in to browse your schedule by day / week / month, including jobs you help other shops with.", with a "Sign in / Sign up" button underneath. The page puts it plainly: "Looking around needs no account; sign in when you want your own data." The storefront and the subcontract invitation pages go further — customers and helpers can use them with no account at all.
Your store's mini program code is generated on the web
"Me" → "Edit store" on the right of your store's row → the page titled "Edit store & storefront" → at the bottom of the "Sharing" section there is a "Mini program code" card: "Customers scan it with WeChat to open your storefront and order straight away. Print it on flyers or business cards, or stick it on your door. Changing your short link later will not break codes you have already printed." Tap "Generate code", then "Download image" (the file is named wxacode-{store id}.png). If it can't be made you see "Could not generate the code, please try again later".
The owner tip at the top of the mini program storefront says to get the code from "Store settings on the web" — that means this page. The other sharing settings are in Storefront.
Three ways to sign in¶
- "Continue with WeChat" (recommended). If your WeChat is already linked you go straight in. The first time, you land on "First time here with WeChat", which asks "Have you used 换换 before?":
- "Yes — link my existing account" → the "Link your existing account" page: "Enter the phone and password you already use. After this, WeChat gets you straight in." Fill them in and tap "Link and sign in" — your stores and data are all there.
- "No — create a new one" → the "What should we call you?" page: "Tap the field to use your WeChat nickname. You can change it later under Me." The field reads "Your name or shop name"; tap "Create account".
- "Use phone and password instead", under the WeChat button — the same account and password as the web version.
- Tap "Log in to apply" on a subcontract invitation someone forwarded you.
One WeChat, one account
If that WeChat is already on another account you get "This WeChat account is already linked to another account. Sign in to that one and unlink it first." The other way round, an account can hold only one WeChat: "This account already has a WeChat account linked. Unlink it under Me · Sign-in methods to change it." If you see "That WeChat sign-in expired. Tap Continue with WeChat again.", just tap it again.
The web version has no WeChat sign-in; its login box is "Phone or email" + password — see Open a store in three minutes.
When you need a phone number¶
An account created through WeChat starts without a phone number, and looking around is fine without one. It only stops you when things get real — the "Add your phone number" item on the Me page explains: "Opening a shop, joining one, applying for a job or accepting an invitation all need a phone number. It is also the only way to get your account back." Try to apply on an invitation page without one and you get "Add a phone number before applying." next to an "Add phone number" button.
To add one: "Me" → "Add your phone number". The steps are the same as on the web (Send code → 6 digits → Add), and so is the rule for a number that already had an account — see Account and login · When you must have a phone number.
Once added, "Me" → "Sign-in methods" shows "WeChat" with the date it was added, and a "Remove" button (it asks "Remove WeChat sign-in?"). You can't remove your last way in: "This is your only way in right now — removing it would lock you out. Add a phone number first."
The five pages¶
The bottom bar is Today / Schedule / Messages / Collab / Me — the same names as the web, just without "Ledger". Your own stores and the jobs you do for others sit on one screen; no switching between owner and helper.
🏠 Today¶
Four blocks: "Net today · all stores", a "{N} customer self-orders awaiting confirmation" line when customers have ordered and you haven't dealt with it yet, "Today's jobs", and "My jobs (helping other stores)". In that last block, "New job offers (N)" can be "Accept"-ed or "Decline"-d, "In progress (N)" has "Mark done", and underneath sit four numbers: Potential / Accepted / Earned / Paid.
📅 Schedule (view only)¶
The page says it itself: "Adding and rescheduling happen on the web; here you can look through each day." Switch between "Today", "This week" and "This month" at the top:
- Today: "‹ Prev day" / "Next day ›" to move through dates. Your own stores' jobs and the ones you do for others share one list; a slot you set yourself is tagged "(your plan)", and two jobs overlapping on the same vehicle or person get a "Clash" badge. An empty day reads "Nothing scheduled for this day."
- This week: "Next 7 days · tap a day to see it"; days with nothing on read "Available · plan your own stuff".
- This month: "🟡 Yellow = jobs that day, number is how many. Tap a day to see it.", with "‹ Prev" / "Next ›" to change month.
💬 Messages¶
The same conversations as on the web: "One thread per job, between you and the owner / helper. Price, timing and hours all get settled here." When it's empty: "Wait for the other side to start, or say something from the job detail on the web." Customers are not in here. What you send goes through a content safety check; if it fails you see "This message did not pass the content safety check and was not sent. Please rephrase and try again." — reword it and send again.
🤝 Collab¶
As a helper, four blocks: "Pending invites (N)" (Accept / Decline), "In progress (N)" ("Mark done", which first asks "Confirm this job is finished?"), "My public-board applications (N)" ("Withdraw"; one person can have at most 5 applications open at once), and "Completed (N)" ("Received" or "To settle").
As an owner, "Dispatched as owner" lists each subcontract: "{N} applied" when people have applied, and a "Public" chip when it's on the public board. Each one has a "Forward" button that opens WeChat's forward panel, with the card titled "Subcontract invitation from {store}" — straight into your crew group. Before you've sent any it reads "You have not subcontracted anything yet." plus "Subcontracting is done from the job or work-order detail on the web." — creating the subcontract, agreeing prices and reviewing applicants all happen on the web, see Dispatch overview.
👤 Me¶
"Add your phone number", "Sign-in methods", "Language", "WeChat reminders", and under your stores a "View store ›" button that opens your own storefront. At the bottom, "More on the web version": "Ledger tables, items and bundles, storefront design, invoices, reports and work orders stay on the web." Tap "Copy the web link"; it confirms with "Link copied", or says "Couldn't copy automatically — copy the link below by hand".
Two public pages (no sign-in)¶
🏬 Storefront¶
This is what a customer sees after scanning your code or tapping your card: contact buttons ("Call", "Copy WeChat ID", "Scan to add on WeChat"), "Open · closes {time}" or "Closed", your price list and "Recent reviews". To order they tap the add button beside an item, fill in "WeChat name" (hint: "Your WeChat nickname — how the owner matches you") and a phone number — missing either gets "Enter your WeChat name" / "Enter your phone" — then "Pick a date" or leave it as "Any day". Under the submit button: "After you submit, the owner contacts you to confirm — no auto-charge." Each item page has "Share".
When the owner opens it, one extra line sits at the top: "This is your storefront. Tap '···' at the top right to forward it to customers, or download the mini program code from Store settings on the web to print.", next to a "Turn on new-order reminders" button. A forwarded card falls back to the title "HuanHuan store".
The mini program storefront is the lighter version
Your summary, opening hours, prices and photos are edited on the web under "Edit store & storefront" and "Inventory / Services", and the two stay in sync; themes, galleries and other decoration show only on the web storefront. For what to do once a customer submits, see Orders and reviewing.
🤝 Subcontract invitation¶
Titled "Subcontract invitation", showing "{N} spot(s) left". Not signed in? Tap "Log in to apply". The first time you apply to a store you tick "I have read and agree to {store}’s helper terms" (if the terms changed since, it says "The terms were updated — please review and agree again"); without a phone number you're stopped. Tap "Apply for this job" and you get "Applied — waiting on the owner", then a "View status" button. Once the owner confirms it reads "The owner accepted your application" and the job appears on your Collab page; if not, "The owner did not accept this application."
WeChat reminders (Service Notifications)¶
No need to keep the mini program open: reminders arrive in WeChat's Service Notifications. "Me" → "WeChat reminders" lists five kinds:
| Reminder | Who | When |
|---|---|---|
| New orders | Owner | A customer ordered from your storefront (the web counterpart is "🛒 New self-serve order at {store} — respond soon") |
| Job invites | Helper | An owner invited you to a job |
| Application results | Applicant | The owner confirmed you, turned you down, or the spots filled up |
| Tomorrow's jobs | Helpers and owners | The automatic evening reminder: helpers get "📅 Job tomorrow", owners get "📅 {N} job(s) tomorrow" |
| New messages | Both | A new message in a job's chat |
Two buttons, "Turn on store reminders" and "Turn on job reminders", each of which makes WeChat pop up an allow dialog. The explanation on the page is worth a read:
Get new orders, invites, messages and tomorrow's jobs in WeChat Service Notifications. WeChat counts each 'Allow' as one reminder — tick 'Keep this choice' in the dialog and it stops asking, topping you up as you go. Tap here again if they run out.
Under each kind you see "{N} left" or "Off"; the summary at the top reads "{N} reminder(s) on" or "No reminders turned on". A kind both roles use, like Tomorrow's jobs, is listed under "Shared by store and job reminders (WeChat counts per reminder type, not per role; either button above adds to it)".
These are WeChat's rules, not ours
According to the official guide: WeChat's long-term subscriptions are only open to government, medical, finance and similar categories, which small businesses can't get; one-off subscriptions allow at most 3 kinds per dialog, one use each — which is why reminders have to be "topped up". Not getting a reminder? First check "Me → WeChat reminders" to see whether that kind is "Off" or used up, then check WeChat hasn't muted Service Notifications.
Separate from web push
On the web, "Me" → "Settings" → "🔔 Push notifications" → "Enable push on this device" uses browser push, and the mute-by-category switches live there too; the WeChat reminder switches exist only in the mini program. The in-app 🔔 bell is the same on both. The full list of notifications is in Messages and reminders.
Everyday scenarios¶
- Owner, before heading out: open "Today" for how many jobs and who's on them; if there's a "{N} customer self-orders awaiting confirmation" line, remember to deal with it on the web.
- Owner needs someone for a job: create the subcontract on the web and "Publish to the public board" → mini program "Collab" → "Dispatched as owner" → tap "Forward" on that job and send it to your crew group → when someone applies, go back to the web and tap "✓ Confirm"; they get an "Application results" reminder. See The public board.
- Helper taking a job: a "Job invites" reminder arrives → tap the card into "Collab" → "Accept" → the evening before, "Tomorrow's jobs" → when it's done, "Mark done" → once the owner pays, it turns to "Received". See Working as a helper.
- Customer ordering: the owner forwards the storefront card to a group or prints the code → the customer opens it, adds items, fills in WeChat name and phone → submits → the owner gets a "New orders" reminder.
Known limits¶
- Creating jobs, rescheduling, subcontracting and opening a store all happen on the web. The schedule page is read-only and the owner side of Collab can only forward; with no store and no jobs the page reads "Opening a shop happens on the web. If someone invites you to a job, it shows up under Work." ("Work" there means the Collab tab — the wording is the app's, not ours.)
- Photos are uploaded on the web. Item photos, store images and work-order photos stay there, as the "More on the web version" line says.
- Chat and order text goes through a content safety check. It occasionally misfires — reword and resend. For users who have used the mini program, the text check also includes your mini program user identifier (openid); see the privacy notice on the website.
- Without a phone number you can't apply, accept an invitation or open a store.
- HuanHuan Community has no mini program. Open social.huanhuan.com.au straight from WeChat and sign in with the same account. Community notifications only show inside the community site, not in WeChat's service notifications. See HuanHuan Community.
Feedback¶
On the web, "Me" → "Settings" → "Feedback / report a bug" lets you submit directly. Include: which page and what you tapped; what you expected and what happened; a screenshot (for reminder problems, include the Service Notifications card too); the rough time and the phone number on your account, so we can match the logs.
