Storefront analytics¶
Your storefront is styled and the link is out there — but how many people actually open it? How many want to order? How many end up booking? Since v3.1.7, "📈 Storefront analytics" records those three things for you, so you can tell whether your storefront and your promotion are working, and what to fix next.
Where: Me at the bottom → tap your store name open → "📈 Storefront analytics" (between "📊 Reports" and "Ledger"). On a computer it's also under Store data in the side nav.
The page is titled "Storefront analytics", with the subtitle "Last 30 days: visits, order-button clicks, and completed submissions."
The three things it counts¶
| Number | Counted once each time… |
|---|---|
| Visits | someone opens your storefront |
| Order clicks | someone on a phone taps the button at the bottom of your storefront (by default "Order / Book"; in cart mode, once something's added, "N items · $total · Checkout") |
| Orders submitted | a customer fills in the form, taps "Submit request" and it goes through |
Worth knowing about how it counts
- Visits are not people. The same person refreshing, or coming back the next day, counts again — and so do your own visits when you check how it looks.
- "Order clicks" only happen on phones and tablets. On a computer (a wide enough screen) the order form sits open on the right of the page, so customers fill it in without tapping a button. Orders placed on a computer count towards Visits and Orders submitted but skip Order clicks — so if many of your customers use a computer, seeing more orders submitted than order clicks is expected, not a bug.
- The bots that WeChat and social apps send to fetch your share card never open the real storefront, so they aren't counted.
- Counting started the day v3.1.7 went live; there's no data from before that.
The three numbers and the conversion rate¶
At the top: Visits / Order clicks / Orders submitted, each the total for the last 30 days, with a line underneath reading "Conversion rate = N%".
Conversion rate = orders submitted ÷ visits, to one decimal place. For example, 842 visits and 38 orders submitted over 30 days is a conversion rate of 4.5%.
The trend chart¶
Three lines, stacked one above the other: Visits / Order clicks / Orders submitted, one each. Each shows its 30-day total at the top right, and the last day's number at the end of the line.
Why not draw them together? The three numbers are often an order of magnitude apart (hundreds of visits, dozens of clicks, a handful of orders). Squeezed onto one axis, clicks and orders would be flattened into a line along the bottom. So each line has its own scale — you're reading each one's ups and downs, not comparing their heights.
Move the mouse over any day (on a phone, press and drag sideways) and a vertical line appears with a small box listing all three numbers for that day. On a keyboard, click the chart once and use ← → to move a day at a time.
The conversion funnel¶
"Conversion funnel" lays the three steps out as bars: Visits → Order clicks → Orders submitted. Bar lengths are all measured against Visits; the percentage in brackets on the last two steps is against the step before:
- after Order clicks = clicks ÷ visits: of the people who came, how many wanted to order;
- after Orders submitted = submitted ÷ clicks: of the people who wanted to order, how many actually finished.
Daily visits¶
At the bottom, "Daily visits" has one row per day: the date, a bar for visits, the visit count, and on the right a small line like "7 clicks · 2 orders" for that day. Every number on the chart can be found in this list — no hovering needed.
Putting the numbers to work¶
| What you see | Likely reason | Try this |
|---|---|---|
| Few visits | The link isn't going out much, or people can't find you | Make your storefront link memorable and put it on business cards, your van, flyers; fill in your tagline, service areas and hours |
| Plenty of visits, few order clicks | People arrive but aren't convinced | Are your prices clear? Do the tagline and About us hit the mark? Enough gallery photos, reviews and trust badges? |
| Order clicks, but few submitted | The form is too long or too hard | Drop required fields you don't really need — see The order form |
| A sudden spike on one day | You posted the link in a group or ran a promotion | Note it down and do it again |
After you change your storefront, come back in a week or two and see whether the lines are heading up — it beats guessing.
Privacy¶
Storefront analytics are recorded by HuanHuan itself, with no third-party tracking such as Google Analytics, and nothing about who the visitor is: each record only says which store, which action and when, plus a random ID created temporarily in that browser tab. The data is only visible in your own store's back office — customers and other stores can't see it.
